Build Submarines
Build Submarines lacked a refined, scalable brand system, and more importantly, most people didn’t understand what maritime manufacturing actually was. The work also needed to challenge outdated perceptions of “dirty” manufacturing and reframe these roles as clean, safe, and technologically advanced.
I led the development of a high-tech brand system that drew visual cues from both construction and the ocean, clearly communicating what’s being built and what it’s built for. The result was an elevated, cohesive brand that clarified the industry, improved understanding at scale, and helped shift perception around modern manufacturing.
